July 13 - According to data released by the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation of Peru, Peru's agricultural exports reached $3.518 billion in January-May 2023, up 0.2 per cent year-on-year. Among them, traditional agricultural exports reached $1.61 billion and non-traditional agricultural products reached $3.357 billion, up 7.5 per cent year-on-year. Topping the list were fresh grapes, avocados, fresh mangoes and fresh red cranberries, with export values of $462 million, $206 million and $171 million, respectively. The top 10 destinations for agricultural exports were the United States, the Netherlands, Spain, Ecuador, Mexico, Chile, the United Kingdom, Colombia and Hong Kong, China, accounting for a total of 78 per cent of the total value of agricultural exports from January to May.
